Mayor of the Sunset Strip - dir. George Hickenlooper

If you haven't yet seen The Mayor of the Sunset Strip, then feel free to watch a sample. Click the link below to watch the first eight minutes of the movie.

About the film "The Mayor of the Sunset Strip"

The list of bands and musicians who owe at least a part of their superstardom to Rodney Bingenheimer, aka Rodney on the ROQ (i.e., alternative L.A. radio station KROQ) could stretch from here to London: the Sex Pistols, David Bowie, the Beatles, Elvis, the Ramones, Coldplay, Elton John, Oasis, Sonny and Cher, Brian Wilson, No Doubt, Courtney Love, the Monkees, Alice Cooper, Rod Stewart and more. Bingenheimer has bathed and baked in pop culture since the '60s and became a major influence on the Los Angeles pop-music scene through his radio show and music clubs. Leaf through his life and see what it would be like to live on the fringes of rock stars' stage costumes. The film is directed by our very own local icon, Mr. George Hickenlooper.

Say Hello to Our Mayor

I don't know how you feel about the mayor of St. Louis, but it couldn't hurt to send him a greeting or two. Perhaps you can help show him how strong our St. Louis film community really is. Whether you approve of him or not, show your support of us by telling him just how much you care about filmmaking in St. Louis.

Please remember to be polite while expressing your opinions!
