A GREAT SUMMER FOR TECHNISONIC

These last few months have been great for Technisonic. Not only did The World's Greatest Fair (www.1904documentary.com) take St. Louis by storm, but earlier this summer, they also (teamed with Waylon Ad) had the honor of being recognized by The Hollywood Reporter's sister publication Shoot Magazine. JUMPIN' CATFISH: LOCAL MOVIE REPORT

In preparation for the release of Inbred Redneck Alien Abduction, we sent out screeners to a few people in hopes of coming up with quotes that will allow us to help sell the movie. Be sure to check out the latest reaction. Here's what Joe Williams of the Post-Dispatch wrote: [CLICK HERE]

Piglet's Big Nomination

Special late congrats go out to stlfilmwire.com subscriber Brian Hohlfeld of Kirkwood. His script for "Piglet's Big Movie" had been nominated for a prestigious PEN Center USA Literary Award. The winner of the award, however, was Brian Helgeland for "Mystic River". Other films nominated were "Seabiscuit," "Holes" and "House of Sand and Fog." Yes, he had some awesome competition -- which gives you an idea just how special his writing truly is. (Applaud, whistle, and cheer!)
