COMING UP SHORTS IS... COMING UP

This in from KDHX:

Come join KDHX Community Media for a night of short films by local
filmmakers:

WHAT: KDHX "Coming Up Shorts" Screening and Awards Ceremony
WHEN: Tuesday, July 29, 8:00pm
WHERE: Webster Film Series (http://www.websteruniv.edu/filmseries/directions.htm)
HOW: Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door.

"Coming Up Shorts" is a program run by KDHX Community Media that
works with local filmmakers on making three-minute short movies.
Come check out the latest round of short videos produced in this
program on Tuesday, July 29 at 8:00pm at the Webster University
Film Series. This program is supported in part by the Regional Arts
Commission and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.

STL SHOWCASE SHORTS GET SLIFF NOD

Chris Clark of Cinema St. Louis has just released the following information:

The staff and board of directors of Cinema St. Louis want to congratulate all of the participating filmmakers on their spectacular work this year. The following films have been invited to screen in the St. Louis International Film Festival in November.
